Deel ATS is the hiring module of Deel's HR and payroll platform. Its AI scores candidates, but Deel says it compares only what candidates submit and does not use external data. SquarePeg works inside Deel ATS and other ATSs and ranks every applicant, past candidate and sourced profile 0–100. It adds company data the resume leaves out, shows the evidence behind every score and checks every candidate for authenticity.
Deel ATS is the applicant tracking module of Deel's global HR, payroll and EOR platform, and Deel says it is available only to customers with Deel HRIS. Deel says its AI runs criteria-based first-round screens, scores candidates and gives "match insights," and knockout questions filter applicants first. An ATS Pro tier adds premium AI features, and a Hiring Agent, also available inside ChatGPT, writes job descriptions and guides sourcing.
Based on each company's public website and announcements, checked October 2026. Unknown means we couldn't find it described there.

As an AI company, SquarePeg gives us a lot of credibility. It has saved us so much time on screening and improved quality of hire.

Deel ATS ties hiring to Deel's HR and payroll. SquarePeg adds deeper screening on top of it, or on top of any other ATS you use.
Every score shows its evidence. SquarePeg scores applicants as they apply, plus past candidates and sourced profiles, against criteria you write in plain language or generate from the job description, each marked Required, Preferred or Bonus. Every criterion gets a 0–100 subscore with a written explanation and the resume lines it's based on, so you review the best people first and can explain every ranking. Eligibility rules (location or radius, time zone, screening answers, a previous rejection reason or the application source) run first, so ineligible applicants are never scored or charged.
Deel says its AI runs criteria-based first-round screens and scores candidates "so the strongest profiles rise to the top," with match insights for each. Deel doesn't publish the score format or a breakdown by criterion. Its FAQ says the matching does not "use external data sources," so it judges candidates only on what they submit. Knockout questions filter applicants before review.
SquarePeg connects to Deel ATS, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, iCIMS, Recruitee and other ATSs and syncs your jobs and applicants. SquarePeg makes rejections and stage changes in your ATS just as if you had made them there, so your ATS emails and automations still run, and the Chrome extension opens it right next to the job or candidate you're viewing. No migration and no new system for your team to learn.
Deel ATS is an ATS, and it runs only on top of Deel HRIS. Approved roles flow in from Deel workforce planning, hires flow into Deel payroll, and jobs post to 1,000+ boards. Deel doesn't describe working alongside another ATS.
Every candidate gets an authenticity confidence rating (High, Mixed, Limited, Low or Unknown), kept separate from their score. It's built from LinkedIn, phone, email and resume signals, and it also flags a phone, email or resume shared with a differently named applicant. It's included in the credit that scores the candidate. Signals inform your review; nothing is rejected automatically.
Deel's ATS pages don't describe fraud or fake-candidate checks for applicants as of October 2026.
Rediscovery searches past applicants in your ATS for people who fit a new opening and scores them on the same criteria as today's applicants. Outbound sourcing finds new candidates outside your ATS on the same scale, and you reveal an email only for the people you want to contact. Every resume gets company context such as industry, headcount, funding and public or private status. And you can find, compare and fine-tune just by asking: the SquarePeg agent finds past candidates who fit a new role, compares your top applicants, explains any score, and can review and update a job's criteria and eligibility rules, in the web app or inside your ATS.
Deel says its AI finds candidates in your internal talent pools and in external sources like LinkedIn, and it offers a marketplace of vetted talent partners. It doesn't describe a dedicated rediscovery workflow. Its Hiring Agent, also in ChatGPT, writes job descriptions and guides sourcing, and its AI Interview Assistant records, transcribes and summarizes interviews.
Credits work across every feature, there are no seat fees and no platform fee, and your whole team can log in. Scoring an applicant or a rediscovered candidate uses 1 credit; sourcing a candidate uses 1 and revealing their email 2. Rediscovery also has a one-time fee to index your ATS, charged at cost. Rescoring is always free, the agent is free, applicants who fail your eligibility rules cost nothing, and new accounts start with 2,000 free credits, no credit card required. See the pricing page for current rates.
Deel doesn't publish ATS or ATS Pro prices and asks buyers to book a demo. The ATS requires Deel HRIS, and premium AI features sit in the separate ATS Pro tier. Deel's pricing page lists "Find talent" (sourcing and screening) from $14 per worker per month.
"SquarePeg allowed us to do more with less without needing a full recruiting team with sourcers and coordinators. It will remain a core part of our recruiting strategy as we scale."
Yes. SquarePeg connects to Deel ATS as well as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, iCIMS and other ATSs, and its Chrome extension opens SquarePeg next to the Deel job or candidate you're viewing.
Deel says its matching compares only what candidates submit, and it doesn't publish how a score breaks down. SquarePeg gives every candidate a 0–100 score with a subscore, a written explanation and resume evidence for each criterion, adds company data such as headcount and funding, and checks every candidate for authenticity.
