Humanly is a high-volume hiring platform that screens applicants by asking qualifying questions over SMS, chat, voice or video, then applies knockout rules. It doesn't describe scoring resumes against detailed criteria or checking applications for fake candidates. SquarePeg scores every applicant, past candidate and sourced profile 0–100 on each of your criteria, shows the resume evidence behind every score, and checks every candidate for authenticity in the same credit.
Humanly is an AI recruiting platform for high-volume, hourly and frontline hiring. It sells an AI Recruiter that screens and schedules over SMS, chat, email, voice and video, an AI Interviewer, an AI Notetaker, a Talent CRM with sourcing, and its own ATS. In May 2024 Humanly acquired Teamable, whose CRM and sourcing are now part of Humanly's platform.
Based on each company's public website and announcements, checked October 2026. Unknown means we couldn't find it described there.

As an AI company, SquarePeg gives us a lot of credibility. It has saved us so much time on screening and improved quality of hire.

Humanly automates conversations with high-volume applicants. SquarePeg goes deeper on judging each candidate's resume against your criteria.
Every score shows its evidence. SquarePeg scores applicants as they apply, plus past candidates and sourced profiles, against criteria you write in plain language or generate from the job description, each marked Required, Preferred or Bonus. Every criterion gets a 0–100 subscore with a written explanation and the resume lines it's based on, so you review the best people first and can explain every ranking. Eligibility rules (location or radius, time zone, screening answers, a previous rejection reason or the application source) run first, so ineligible applicants are never scored or charged.
Humanly's AI Recruiter asks applicants your qualifying questions, such as availability, shift preference, certifications and right to work, and knockout rules advance or disqualify them. Humanly says every candidate is scored against the same criteria, but it doesn't describe how resumes are scored or show the resume evidence behind a score. Its AI Interviewer rates answers out of 5 by category.
SquarePeg connects to Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, iCIMS, Recruitee and other ATSs and syncs your jobs and applicants. SquarePeg makes rejections and stage changes in your ATS just as if you had made them there, so your ATS emails and automations still run, and the Chrome extension opens it right next to the job or candidate you're viewing. No migration and no new system for your team to learn.
Humanly connects to Workday, iCIMS, Greenhouse, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG, Dayforce, Oracle Taleo, Avature and Employ, and writes screening results, scores and disqualifications back. It also sells its own ATS. Its Chrome extension saves LinkedIn and web profiles to its CRM.
Every candidate gets an authenticity confidence rating (High, Mixed, Limited, Low or Unknown), kept separate from their score. It's built from LinkedIn, phone, email and resume signals, and it also flags a phone, email or resume shared with a differently named applicant. It's included in the credit that scores the candidate. Signals inform your review; nothing is rejected automatically.
Humanly's safeguards run during its AI interviews: detecting multiple speakers, monitoring browser activity and flagging suspicious behavior. It doesn't describe checks for fake or misrepresented applicants at the application stage.
Rediscovery searches past applicants in your ATS for people who fit a new opening and scores them on the same criteria as today's applicants. Outbound sourcing finds new candidates outside your ATS on the same scale, and you reveal an email only for the people you want to contact. Every resume gets company context such as industry, headcount, funding and public or private status. And you can find, compare and fine-tune just by asking: the SquarePeg agent finds past candidates who fit a new role, compares your top applicants, explains any score, and can review and update a job's criteria and eligibility rules, in the web app or inside your ATS.
Humanly's Talent CRM, which came from Teamable, includes a database Humanly says holds 600M+ candidates and SMS and email sequences; former Teamable users now find its sourcing inside Humanly. Humanly says it re-engages past applicants, but doesn't describe rescoring them against a new role's criteria. It also offers AI interviews by chat, voice or video, an AI notetaker and automatic scheduling.
Credits work across every feature, there are no seat fees and no platform fee, and your whole team can log in. Scoring an applicant or a rediscovered candidate uses 1 credit; sourcing a candidate uses 1 and revealing their email 2. Rediscovery also has a one-time fee to index your ATS, charged at cost. Rescoring is always free, the agent is free, applicants who fail your eligibility rules cost nothing, and new accounts start with 2,000 free credits, no credit card required. See the pricing page for current rates.
Humanly doesn't publish prices; it offers a demo and an ROI calculator. It says it is moving toward outcome-based pricing, including pay-per-candidate and pay-per-hire options.
Before SquarePeg: "I'll spend time setting up a call with somebody, going to LinkedIn profile, trying to decipher if they're a real person, and then get them on the phone, and they're in no way matched up to the actual profile I had."
Humanly acquired Teamable in May 2024, and Teamable's CRM, sourcing and outreach are now part of Humanly. SquarePeg takes a different approach: it ranks applicants in your ATS 0–100 on your criteria with the evidence behind every score, and its sourcing scores new candidates outside your ATS on the same criteria. SquarePeg doesn't include a CRM or outreach sequences.
No. SquarePeg scores the application itself, using the resume and company data, with eligibility rules for location, time zone and screening answers applied first. Humanly's conversations and AI interviews cover a different step, so you can use both.
Yes. The demo on our homepage lets you score up to three of your own resumes or LinkedIn profiles for free, or explore sample jobs that are already scored, without connecting an ATS. When you connect your ATS, you start with 2,000 free credits and no credit card.
