Skima AI is a matching layer for your ATS that gives each applicant one match percentage with pros and cons, and adds AI video interviews and email campaigns. SquarePeg scores every applicant, past candidate and sourced profile 0–100 on each of your criteria, shows the resume lines behind every subscore, and adds company data the resume leaves out. Skima's self-serve Premium plan doesn't include ATS integration; SquarePeg connects to your ATS with no seat fees and no platform fee.
Skima AI is an AI matching layer that sits on top of an ATS, selling to corporate recruiting teams and staffing agencies. It gives each applicant a match percentage with reasoning, rediscovers past applicants, and runs AI video interviews and email campaigns. Skima says it connects to "130+ ATS, CRM, and recruiting tools," and in October 2026 it added hard filters and a global candidate search.
Based on each company's public website and announcements, checked October 2026. Unknown means we couldn't find it described there.

As an AI company, SquarePeg gives us a lot of credibility. It has saved us so much time on screening and improved quality of hire.

Skima and SquarePeg both score applicants on top of your ATS and rediscover past candidates. SquarePeg goes deeper on how each score is built; Skima extends into interviews and outreach.
Every score shows its evidence. SquarePeg scores applicants as they apply, plus past candidates and sourced profiles, against criteria you write in plain language or generate from the job description, each marked Required, Preferred or Bonus. Every criterion gets a 0–100 subscore with a written explanation and the resume lines it's based on, so you review the best people first and can explain every ranking. Eligibility rules (location or radius, time zone, screening answers, a previous rejection reason or the application source) run first, so ineligible applicants are never scored or charged.
Skima gives each applicant one overall match score, shown as a percentage such as 96%, with "breakdowns of how each score is calculated with pros and cons." It doesn't describe a numeric subscore for each criterion, and the data it lists comes from the candidate: skills, experience, job titles, education and achievements. Hard Filters, added in October 2026, enforce minimum requirements at the scoring layer.
SquarePeg connects to Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, iCIMS, Recruitee and other ATSs and syncs your jobs and applicants. SquarePeg makes rejections and stage changes in your ATS just as if you had made them there, so your ATS emails and automations still run, and the Chrome extension opens it right next to the job or candidate you're viewing. No migration and no new system for your team to learn.
Skima says it syncs both ways with 130+ ATS, CRM and recruiting tools and writes scores, explanations and fraud ratings back to the candidate record. Its Workflows can move stages and update status in your ATS from triggers such as a candidate being scored, though Skima says it "never auto-rejects." Its self-serve Premium plan lists ATS integration as not included. It also has a Chrome extension.
Every candidate gets an authenticity confidence rating (High, Mixed, Limited, Low or Unknown), kept separate from their score. It's built from LinkedIn, phone, email and resume signals, and it also flags a phone, email or resume shared with a differently named applicant. It's included in the credit that scores the candidate. Signals inform your review; nothing is rejected automatically.
Skima says it flags bot applicants, templated and AI-generated resumes, and resume discrepancies, and writes a fraud risk rating to your ATS. Its AI interviewer flags unusual activity such as screen changes.
Rediscovery searches past applicants in your ATS for people who fit a new opening and scores them on the same criteria as today's applicants. Outbound sourcing finds new candidates outside your ATS on the same scale, and you reveal an email only for the people you want to contact. Every resume gets company context such as industry, headcount, funding and public or private status. And you can find, compare and fine-tune just by asking: the SquarePeg agent finds past candidates who fit a new role, compares your top applicants, explains any score, and can review and update a job's criteria and eligibility rules, in the web app or inside your ATS.
Skima rediscovers past applicants in your ATS, and its Global AI Search, launched in October 2026, searches a candidate database whose size it doesn't state. It also runs AI video interviews and email campaigns with a workflow editor. It offers natural-language search but doesn't describe a conversational assistant.
Credits work across every feature, there are no seat fees and no platform fee, and your whole team can log in. Scoring an applicant or a rediscovered candidate uses 1 credit; sourcing a candidate uses 1 and revealing their email 2. Rediscovery also has a one-time fee to index your ATS, charged at cost. Rescoring is always free, the agent is free, applicants who fail your eligibility rules cost nothing, and new accounts start with 2,000 free credits, no credit card required. See the pricing page for current rates.
Skima publishes a Premium plan at $79/month billed monthly or $49/month billed annually, with a 14-day free trial. Premium lists ATS integration, SSO and SOC 2 enterprise security as not included; Enterprise is priced on request. The AI Interviewer is priced separately, based on hiring scale.
"I know how you're scoring, why you're scoring it a certain way, and I can actually see it. That has been a really big game changer."
